John A Sink

JOHN A. (BUDDY) SINK, 80, of North Little Rock, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 4, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 60 years and the love of his life, Betty Sink. Also left with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his sons Mike Sink, Steve (Laura) Sink and Scott Sink, all of North Little Rock and a daughter Cindy (Don) Shelton of Conway. His last years were spent sharing his love and advice with seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and "solving" all the world's problems. Buddy, as he was known by his friends and family, was the son of the late Ralph and Jetta Sink of Newport, Ark. He served as a state legislator to that area in the 1960's and his interest in politics continued throughout his life. In addition to being a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather he spent most of his adult life as a business owner in North Little Rock. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time.
