Joanne T. Prochazka

Joanne T. Prochazka, 49, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Piedmont Henry Medical Center in McDonough, Ga. The daughter of Jerry Dee Prochazka and Helen Prochazka Andrey, she was born July 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Joanne graduated from Dover High School in 1981 and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas Tech University in 1993. Joanne was a registered nurse in Arkansas until she moved to Georgia in 2011 to continue her nursing career. She was passionate about making a difference in the lives of her patients. She loved riding her motorcycle on scenic trips throughout Arkansas and Georgia. Joanne took pride in her family and, above all, she was most proud of the accomplishments of her children. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, an infant twin brother and grandson, Nicholas Sanders. She is survived by a daughter, Leanne Milholland & husband Zachary of Little Rock; son, Sean Liggett of Mulberry; daughter & son, Kelsey and Ryan Sanders of the home; seven grandchildren, Zoe and Bentleigh Croom, Caitie and Paxton Liggett, Aleah, Jonathan, and Rayna Sanders; one sister, Helene Gonzalez and husband Jose; two brothers, J.D. Prochazka & wife Lynne; Robert Prochazka & wife Michelle; a number of nieces and nephews. In celebration of her life, Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Church. Re. Chumba will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, Ark. by Humphrey Funeral Service.
