Sammy Lee Wigley
Sammy Lee Wigley, 66, of Fountain Hill, passed away, Tuesday, May 7 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born January 23, 1947 to the late Wilson and Lois Young Wigley.
He was a retired Chemical Engineer having received a BS in Chemical Engineering at University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He was a member of Eden Baptist Church at Fountain Hill where he served as a deacon. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sara Horn Wigley; one brother, Billy Wigley; a brother-in-law, Billy Wayne Berry and a son, J.W. Wigley.
Survivors include one daughter, Lee Ellen Wigley of Kingwood, Texas; one son, Joshua Wade Wigley of Boulder, Colo.; two sisters Eleanor Wigley Stephenson and husband, Travis of Monticello and Dorothy Berry of Fountain Hill; a brother-in-law, Roger Horn, of College St., Texas; a sister-in-law, Susan Horn Williams and husband, Jon of Little Rock; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 10 at Eden Baptist Church in Fountain Hill. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Stephenson Dearman Funeral Home.
