MARY GRAY NOEL, 74, died peacefully, Friday, May 10, 2013 in her home in Little Rock. She was born in Fort Smith, Ark., on October 4, 1938 to Robert Eugene Gray and Juanita Warren Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Gray Jr. and sister Delores Gray Finch. She leaves her husband of 25 years, Lloyd Thomas Noel; and daughter, Chaney Maddox; two grandchildren, Lilly and Graham Maddox; three stepchildren, Diane Hollo, Mike Noel and Chris Noel; and five step-grandchildren, Jacob, Jenny and Anthony Hollo, and Jennifer and Spencer Noel. She attended Little Rock Central High and Little Rock University. During the day you might find her sitting in her yard waving to all that passed by. She was a vivacious and a selfless woman willing to forgo so that the people around her could have what they might need. Never selfish, always forgiving, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren dearly, loved her Mary Higgins Clark books and made a mean lemon icebox pie. She was quick witted and had unforgettable crystal blue eyes. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home, Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, May 15, at 14125 County Farm Road in Little Rock from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. All are invited to attend to celebrate her life.
