Linda F. Ballentine

Linda F. Ballentine, 65, of Cabot, went to be with the Lord Monday, May 13, 2013. Linda was born September 28, 1947 in Searcy to the late Robert and Maxine (Davis) Goodnight. She is also preceded in death by children Jessie Glover and Elaine Ogden, brother Freddie Goodnight, and sister Pat Swelling. Linda was a member of Rock City Harvest Church. She was a small woman with a big heart, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Richard Ballentine of Cabot; son Robert Glover (Debbie Winchester) of Jacksonville; daughter-in-law Robin Wheeler (Keith); grandsons Zach Glover (Kate), Caleb Glover (Maria), and Corey Glover; granddaughters Tracy Dawa (Michael), Shawna Glover, Krystal Glover, and Brandy Burris (Joseph); great-grandchildren Lillie Mae Glover, Caleb Jordon Glover, Jr., Junior Burris, Logan Burris; father-in-law A.C. Ballentine; special friends Beth Snyder and Joyce & Bill Curry; many nieces and nephews; and her four-legged companion, JoJo. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Rock City Harvest Church, 10225 Hwy. 107, Sherwood, with Rev. Arthur Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, with Gary Davis, Paul Davis, Jeff Davis, Curtis Davis, Richard Hall and John Curry serving as pallbearers.
