Janice Marie Pitts Yancey, 58, of Hot Springs passed away Monday, May 13, 2013. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going on her "Girls" trips with her sister, cousin and aunt. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and flea markets and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Yancey; son, Wayne Yancey Jr., (Cassondra); daughter, Shannon Stinson (Gary), all of Hot Springs; father, John M. Pitts Sr. and stepmother, Frances, of Wynne; grandchildren, Haydn, Christian and Kadynce Yancey, Mary Cluck, Sidney Bodiford, Makala Magby and Benjamin Stinson ; sister, Judy Van Pelt (Rickey) of Jacksonville; brothers, John Pitts, Jr. (Libby) of Jacksonville, Jerry Pitts (Kelly), of Caldwell and Terry Pitts (Tami), of Lonoke; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Lee, of Sherwood; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry E. and Madgie Herbert, Monroe Pitts and Kathleen Dobbins; and her mother, Helen Pitts. Memorials may be made to Faith Point Ministries, 440 Broadway, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bayou Meto Cemetery.
