Yvonne Mayweather Cowart

Yvonne Mayweather Cowart, age 53, of North Little Rock, widow of Willie Cowart, passed Monday. She retired at UPS as a logistics specialist. She was a member of Greater New Hope Baptist Church, North Little Rock. Survivors daughter, Bridgette (Maidrian) Hammond; son, Christopher White Sr.; grandchildren, Quanisha and Brenja Allen, Brianna, Cynia and Christopher White Jr.; siblings, Rev. Elijah (Emma) Angew, Travis, Tyrone Mayweather, Otis Pettus, Dora Manley, Cathie Nowden, Florence (LC) Bonner, Regina Davis and Virginia Gooden; sister-in-law, Stella Mayweather; best friends, JoAnn Walton Handy (Rev. George), Eunice Smith (Willie); and special pet, JJ. There will be a private viewing for family. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, Greater New Hope New Baptist Church, 1723 W. 44th, North Little Rock.
