Dovie R. Kumpe

DOVIE KUMPE, 90, of Little Rock, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013. She was born on Feb. 26, 1923 in Phoebe, Miss., to the late Johnny E. and Ella Pearl (Kirksey) Wooten. Dovie loved to cook for the family and enjoyed spending time with them. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Joe C. Kumpe; her sisters Ruby, Earlene, Cora; her brothers James and Leroy; and her niece Patty. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Tony Kumpe; her sisters, Lorene (Boggan) Clouse and Francis Rackley; her granddaughter Kala; her eight nieces and six nephews and 23 great-nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
