Doyle Wayne Starr

Doyle Wayne Starr of Bryant, Ark., peacefully entered heaven's gates on May 17, 2013 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Dec. 29, 1935 in Iowa Park, Texas to the late Baxter and Atha May Starr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Floye Sue Kopf and Doris Troutt and brother-in-law, Bennie Troutt. Wayne is survived by his wife of 40 years, Peggy; two daughters, Jeanette Stell of Little Rock and Debra Shuptrine and husband, Darrell of Little Italy; three grandsons, Michael Stell and wife, Shelly of Casa; Troy Stell and wife, Amanda of Arkadelphia; Nathan Shuptrine of Little Rock; and one granddaughter, Keri Rheinhold and husband, Tab of North Little Rock and six great-grandchildren. The family expresses great appreciation to Dr. Brad Baltz and his staff, Dr. Tyler Baber and Dr. John Jones. Wayne had a great love for his family, horses, flowers, and the Gulf Coast Beaches of Alabama. He had retired from self-employment in the lawn care business.
