Bobby Joe Bennett, 65, of El Paso, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013. He was born on Friday, Jan. 2, 1948 in Searcy to the late Joseph W. and Frances Geraldine (Pankey) Bennett. He enjoyed to pick at his guitar, children, and grandchildren. He lived life to the fullest. He loved music and dancing. He received the Purple Heart and was awarded other medals for his bravery in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked for 35 years as a truck driver for Wal-Mart. He was a member of Center Point Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Brock) Bennett; daughters, Dianne Isaacs of Jacksonville, Cindy Copeland (Charles) of Sidon, Belinda Massey (Paul) of Conway, Janice Chamberlain (Keith) of Cave City, Susan White (Rickie) of Cushman, and Frances McElroy (Shawn) of Newport; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Pearce of Sidon; and brothers, Tommy Bennett of Judsonia and James Bennett of Sidon. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Center Point Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Greig Caswell officitating. Burial will follow at Grissard Cemetery in El Paso with Rickie White, Keith Chamberlain, Paul Massey, Charles Copeland, Matthew Brock, Chris "C.J." Geisler Jr., Shawn Bearden, and Charles Jordan serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway.
