Ruie Granger McCallum, age 82, of Arkadelphia, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013. She was born August 15, 1930, the daughter of David and Davie Granger. Ruie was a long time resident of Clark County and a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She was a member of the Oakland Extension Homemakers Club; she loved the Clark County Fair and won many blue ribbons for a variety of canned goods. For many years she shared her faith as a childrens' Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Billy Ray Granger, sister, Barbara Ann Buck, and grandson, David Terrell McCallum. Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Jack T. McCallum; her daughter, Vicki McCallum Hedden and husband Terry of Longview, Texas; and her son, Robert McCallum and wife Diann of Arkadelphia. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 at Park Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 24 at Park Hill Baptist Church under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Dr. Marvin Pate and Bro. James Guthrie officiating. Burial will be in the Degray Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Buddy Byrd, Roy Ham, David Golden, Ronnie Penney, Mike Leamons, and Carroll Buck. Memorials may be made to the David T.
