Charles William Clark, 73, of Moorpark, Calif., raised in North Little Rock, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Charles was born in Little Rock, Ark. to the late Charles Orbrey Clark and Margaret Stoll Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, of 50 years, Jane Martin Clark also of North Little Rock, Calif. Charles was a retired Federal Railroad Administration Safety Inspector and retired from the Missouri Pacific Railroad as a Road Foreman of Engines. He also served 21 years with the United States Army Reserve and retired at the rank of Major. Also, Charles was a life time member of the Big Rock Masonic Lodge and member of the Jewel Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Clark DeVol and Victoria Martin Clark; two grandchildren, Clark Charles DeVol and Claire Jane DeVol, all of the Los Angeles area; one brother, Neil Clark of North Little Rock, Ark.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Military and Masonic memorial service will be held Monday, June 17, 10 a.m., at Edgewood Memorial Park, North Little Rock.
