John Walter Bayless

John Walter Bayless, age 74, of Conway, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013. He was born September 18, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Dale and Lucille Bayless. He retired after 21 years of service in the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant, later he retired from ICM in Jacksonville. He was preceded in death by his wife Sally Carver Bayless. He is survived by his children; John C. Bayless and his wife Anita, Laura Francis and her husband Greg, four grandchildren; Jean Russo, Beth Stearns, Sarah Cleveland, John David Bayless, four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Phyllis Conklin. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park with military honors.
