Edward G. Fletcher

Edward G. (Eddie Boy) Fletcher, 86, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 25, 2013 Edward, a 1945 graduate of LRHS served in the U.S. Army as Quartermaster in Japan. Eddie married the love of his life, Mary Jo (Jody) Lewis in 1947; raised their family until her death in 1983. Eddie was Vice President of General Press Services in Little Rock; published The Arkansas Legislative Digest, The Daily Record, Arkansas Baptist News Magazine, small town newspapers and many other publications. After retiring in 1985, Eddie continued his love of printing with Lloyd Mayfield at their shop in Mabelvale. Eddie enjoyed hunting, fishing and dancing the Polka with his wife. Eddie is survived by two daughters; Robin Ashmore, Sharon Blankenship, her husband John, one son; Danny Fletcher, his wife Cathy, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29th 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas.
