Carolyn Marie Edwards

Carolyn Marie Edwards 60, formerly of Little Rock, Ark., passed away in Dallas, Texas, on Sunday, May 26, 2013. She graduated from Conway High School and attended the University of Central Arkansas where she received degrees in English and Spanish. Carolyn worked as a Social Worker throughout several counties in Arkansas, before moving to Dallas, Texas, where she worked as a Computer Network Technician for MCI and Nortel before retiring, due to health reasons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie James Edwards Sr. and Annie Mae Smith Edwards. Carolyn is survived by her sisters, Geraldine Johnson (Columbus), Little Rock, Eugenia Jackson, West Palm Beach, Florida, Gladys Mosby (Roy), New Llano, La.; two brothers, Terry Edwards (Jewel) Maumelle, Ark., and Willie J. Edwards II, (Ruby Jean) Little Rock; and their children, Carla Johnson, Carmen Hardin, Willie J. Edwards III, Jennifer Edwards, Terika Edwards, Julian Edwards, Latricia Mayner, Eugene Jackson and Danny Jackson Jr.; and a very special care giving cousin, Imogene Lacefield, Dallas, Texas. She will also be missed by many relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at Pilgrim Valley Baptist Church, 1821 Wolfe St., Little Rock, Ark.
