Janice Annette Shelton

Janice Annette Shelton, 37, of Tull passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at her home. She was born July 10, 1976 in Saline County, AR to Walter Griffin and the late Eula Jean Turner Griffin. Mrs. Shelton was a homemaker and a retired cashier service manager for Walmart. She was a member of Brooks Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where she was very active in the Children's Ministry. In addition to her mother she was also preceded in death by one brother, Walter Wayne Griffin and two nephews, Christopher Lewis and Walter Ammons. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Ronald Frank Shelton of Tull; one son, Ray Shelton of Benton; two daughters, Anna Marie Shelton of Tull and Crystal Shelton of Jonesboro; six sisters, Joyce Kyle (Rudy), Brenda Prichard (James), Marilyn Griffin, Nancy Lewis (Roy), Glenda Gilbert, and Vivian Griffin all of Benton; four brothers, Richard Carter (Marilyn), Ricky Griffin (Kathleen), Terry Griffin (Pat), and Sam Griffin all of Benton, two grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Brooks Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Buddy Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Cemetery in Haskell. Serving as pallbearers are Darrell Lockridge, Johnathan Richard, Casey Richard, Nathan Griffin, Shane Hicks, William Ammons, and Ray Shelton.
