Oscar Oswalt

Oscar Oswalt, 96, of Wright, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. Oscar was born in Guntown, Miss. to Jesse V. Oswalt and Willie Kilgore Oswalt. Oscar was an active member of Plum Bayou Baptist Church in Wright, Ark. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Peggy Oswalt Kearns; two brothers; and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Varnell Outlaw Oswalt, nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Plum Bayou Baptist Church with burial in Mulberry Cemetery in England, Ark. Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. also at the church. Roller England Funeral Home (501)-842-3939 is in charge of the services.
