Gilbert Franklin Griffin

Gilbert Franklin Griffin, 69, of Traskwood, passed away on Saturday Nov. 2, 2013. He was born June 6, 1944 in Lake Village, Ark. to the late Gilbert Monroe Griffin and the late Madell Royal Griffin. Gilbert was retired from Pulaski County Road and Bridge and was a veteran of the United States Army during Desert Storm. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and American Legion Post of Sheridan. Survivors include his sister, Jean Wilson and husband Tommy of Drasco, Ark.; daughters, Tonya Griffin Paul and husband Ernest of Traskwood, and Robin McKnight and husband Clay, also of Traskwood. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and various aunts and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Harold Cantley officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 immediately preceding the funeral and will be held in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home.
