Bernice Shaw Newberry

Bernice Shaw Newberry, 79, of Conway passed away on November 1st, 2013. She was born on November 30, 1933 to the late Burnie A. and Francis (Hooks) Shaw in Cato, Arkansas. She was retired from Kimberly Clark Corporation. Bernice loved spending time with her family and was an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her husband Weighbourne; her sons Tilden and Kevin; her parents Burnie and Francis; two brothers and a sister. She leaves to cherish her memory her grandson Zachary Newberry; her sister Alta Whitfield and a host of cousins and friends, all who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or to the Arkansas Down Syndrome Association, 9800 Vinson Court, Little Rock, Ark. 72205 (501)223-DOWN.
