Mary Elizabeth Lingo, 82 of Lonoke, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Mary was born January 24, 1931 in Blytheville, Ark. to the late James and Margaret (Douglass) Hughes. She is also preceded in death by brother William Hughes and great-grandson Noah Oliveto. Mrs. Lingo retired from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. After retirement, she volunteered with Friends of the Library, served on the board of Lonoke, Prairie County Library, and served as vice-president of Lonoke County Museum. She enjoyed working on genealogy projects for her family and was an avid reader. Mary is survived by her husband Douglas Lingo; children Mary "M" Mosby (Eileen) of Titusville, Fla., Laura K. Mancuso (Drake) of Roswell, N.M., and Ann F. Hilton (Brent) of Lonoke, Ark.; grandchildren, Jennifer Mary Oliveto, Courtney Lee Boutwell, and Jeremiah John Louis Oliveto; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main St., Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lonoke County Museum, P.O.
