He loved God, his family and his country. He married his devoted wife on April 1, 1967 and the two lived in Little Rock for the entire 47 years of their marriage. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. His unwavering faith in his Lord was his constant source of strength throughout his many years of pain and suffering. His undying love and devotion to his family was the driving force for him to continue on in the face of his overwhelming physical struggles. His devoted daughter never missed a day without seeing her Dad which brought them both joy and laughter, especially when the black Lab puppy he called The Kissing Bandit arrived in their lives to steal his kisses. His sense of humor endeared him to countless people wherever he went. He leaves his beloved wife who he cherished above all else, Marleen (Gregory) Palmer; his two children, Kevin Palmer of Atlanta, Georgia and Kristy (Palmer) Taylor of Roland; a son-in-law, Les Taylor, who he loved as one of his own; Tom Ellicott of Atlanta, Georgia; and two granddogs, Zoe Palmer and Daisy May Taylor.
