Verona Tremor, 91, of Benton passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013. She was born August 13, 1922 in Shawnee, OK to the late Arlis F. and Blanche A. Giltner Sullivan. Mrs. Tremor was a retired Tax Examiner with the IRS and represented the Government Employee Union. She was one of the founding members of Parkview Christian Church in southwest Little Rock. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband, William Morton Tremor and one brother, Fred Sullivan. She is survived by one son, William L. Tremor and wife Sharon of Benton; one daughter, Julie Hicks and husband Rickey of Tupelo, Miss., seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. A period of visitation and celebration of Mrs. Tremor's life will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home with a graveside service following at New Rosemont Memorial Park officiated by Mrs. Tremor's grandson, Daniel Hicks of Tupelo.
