REV. WILLIE C. WASHINGTON of College Station, Ark., one of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ good and faithful servants answered his call on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013. He was the second child and oldest son born to the late Booker T. and Viola Snyder Washington on May 17,1936 in Aliceville, Ala. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years, Arzina Powell Washington; three sons, Jessie (Dora) Wilder, Gregory (Christine) Washington and Gary (Delisa) Washington; two daughters, Michele D. and Makesha D. Washington all of Little Rock, Ark.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven brothers; seven sisters; and a host of cousins, nieces & nephews. Rev. Washington was a faithful member of Reed Memorial CME Church for over 50 years. He previously pastored Mt. Hebrew CME Church in Springfield, Ark. and Zion Temple CME Church in Menifee, Ark. Services for Rev. Washington will begin with a family hour on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, 6-7 p.m. at Reed Memorial CME Church, 3101 Izard Street, Little Rock, Ark. Home going celebration will be Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, 11 am at Bullock Temple CME, 1513 South Park Street, Little Rock, Ark., Rev. James Rouse, pastor of Reed Memorial CME Church, officiating.
