Charles James Stigger

Charles James Stigger, 72, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013, at Baptist Health-Little Rock. Charlie was born January 9, 1941, in Casscoe. He previously worked for Sunshine Flyboys and Grand Prairie Dusters before beginning employment with Turpin Funeral Home for over 30 years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Richard Stigger; and a grandson, Timothy Terrell Austin. Survivors are his wife, Herlon Foster Stigger; three sons, Ronnie Burkes of Little Rock and Roy Austin and Timothy Austin of Stuttgart; five daughters, Mary Sanders, Joyce Propps, Alice Woods and Carolyn Wainwright of Little Rock and Sherry Hall of Stuttgart; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services, Bro. Booker T. Wilson, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Bayou Meto Cemetery near Humphrey.
