Peggy Ammons

Peggy Ammons, 60, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013. She was born January 30, 1953 to Cora and James Ammons in Brewton, Al. and was raised in Omaha, Neb. A veteran of the Iraqi War, she served honorably as a Staff Sergeant until her retirement in 2012. She was preceded in death by her father and she is survived by her mother, Cora Ammons, Little Rock, Ark.; two children, Dana Ammons, Phoenix, Ariz., Mikala Ammons, Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Minnie (Morris) Thompson; and two brothers, Willie Frank (Lois) Bradley, Murphysboro, Tenn. and Willie Ammons, Little Rock, Ark. She also leaves five grandchildren; Jordan Ammons, Kaila Irvin, Dana Ammons Jr., Azana Ammons, Kyrie Saine; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family. Services will be held at Metro Church 17th and Maple St. in North Little Rock on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11 a.m.. Wake services will be held at Premier Funeral Home, 1518 South Battery St., Little Rock, Ark. 72202 on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. til 8:30 p.m.
