Charles Allen Lanphere, born Sept. 15, 1930, Marianna, Ark., died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents, Charles C. Lanphere and Bobbie M. Lanphere Caples; brother, Lt. Claude C. Lanphere (KIA - World War II, Pilot USAF), sister, Evelyn L. Vinchattle (Tim) and stepfather, Jack Caples. Survived by wife, Evelyn Dargusch Lanphere; daughters, Gen Anne Lanphere and Lynda L. Buel (Kent); brother, Robert J. Lanphere (Shirley); grandchildren, Parker, Cameron, and Christan Buel; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
