John Wesley Duckworth Sr., 63, of Bryant, passed away on Nov. 21, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born on Oct. 2, 1950 to the late, Luther Miller and Annie Mae Duckworth in North Little Rock, Ark. John enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles and working in his yard. He was employed with Royal Brass and Hose for over 30 years; he also served in the United States Army as an Airborne Ranger and received two purple hearts and a bronze medal of honor. John is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Cora Metz and Norma Jean Fletcher and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Elizabeth Foster. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kaye Duckworth; daughter, Tracy "Bear" McClain; two sons, John Duckworth Jr "Jay"; (Christina) and Marc Duckworth "Red"; grandchildren, Kody McClain, Kolten McClain, Meagan McIntyre, Graci Duckworth, Shelby Duckworth "Lil Princess", John Wesley Duckworth III "Bubba" and Laci Duckworth; two sisters, Joyce Bratton (Roy) and Judy Belk; special niece, Kelli Maddox and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 from 6-8 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
