Douglas R. Maltby

DOUGLAS R. MALTBY, 95, died in Little Rock on Nov. 23, 2013. He was born in New Haven, Conn. and lived for many years in Decatur, Ga. He was most recently a resident of Hot Springs Village until moving to Little Rock in Aug. 2013. He was a glider pilot in WWII and flew in the Holland and Operation Market Garden invasions. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley in 1996. He is survived by wife, Gloria; daughters, Sarah Harman, Patricia Richardson and Ann Kirkland; and nephew Peter Maltby.
