Thomas C. Wilkerson

Thomas C. Wilkerson, 78, of Bentonville, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. He was born December 23, 1934 in Little Rock, Ark. to Otho Howard and Marjorie Henrietta Thomas Wilkerson. Tommy graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1952 and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas College of Pharmacy in 1963. Tommy loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed duck hunting and playing golf. Tommy served as a captain in the Army, taught Sunday school for 27 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville for 41 years. Tommy owned and operated Tommy's Family Pharmacy and retired after working 15 years at USA Drugs in Bentonville. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents and his cherished wife of 47 years, Martha Jo Wilkerson. He is survived by a daughter, Lynn Clark and husband, Mike of Bentonville, Ark.; a son, Clark Wilkerson and wife, Michelle of Bella Vista, Ark.; a brother, O.H. "Sunny" Wilkerson of Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Ann Benham of Marianna, Ark.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Bentonville City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Leukemia Research, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 210 N Walton Blvd. #25, Bentonville, Ark. 72712.
