Robert Lee Green

Robert Lee "Bob" Green Jr., age 86 of Bald Knob, Ark., passed away Nov. 28, 2013 at White County Medical Center. He was born Feb. 15, 1927, the son of Robert Lee Green Sr., and Maggie Baker Green. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Edith Sharp; three brothers, Earl Lynn Green, Gerald Green, and Raymond Green. Bob is survived by his wife Mary Lou Green; three boys, Johnny Michael Green and his wife Denise of Muskogee, Okla., Robert Lee "Bobby" Green III and his wife Kim of Conway, Ark., and Randy Green and his wife Becky of Overbrook, Okla.; one brother, Naaman Green of Pangburn; one sister, Sharon Horner of Searcy; three grandchildren, Michael Green and wife Jennifer of Killeen, Texas, Leslie Welch and husband Jamey of Ft. Irwin, Calif., and Robyn Green and wife Geri of Conway, Ark.; and 11 great-grandchildren. Bob was a World War II Navy veteran, retired from Arkansas Power & Light, and retired deacon of Central Baptist Church. Visitation is Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob.
