Sharon T. Hartness

Sharon T. Hartness, age 62, of Dermott, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. She was born January 8, 1951 in Dermott, Arkansas, the daughter of the late T.V. Tucker and Bonnie Copeland Tucker. She was a Cosmetologist, a Cosmetology School Instructor, and was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Dermott. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Jo Pamplin. Survivors are husband, Herman C. Jackson of Dermott, daughter, Kathy Jo Gregg of Dermott; sister, Janet Clark of Dermott; granddaughter, Ashley Hartness, two step-daughters, Stephanie Jackson and Sherry Thompson; four step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and numerous friends from the Dermott class of 1969. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Friday, at Bishop Funeral Home in Lake Village. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Temple Baptist Church in Dermott with Bro. Bobby Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Dermott City Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village. In lieu of flowers: American Cancer Society, P.O.
