Charles Lavell King

Charles Lavell King, 73, of Judsonia died Monday, September 30, 2013. He was born July 14, 1940 in Searcy, the son of Willard Rueon and Venita King. Charles was the owner of King's Backhoe Service for 25 years. He was on the White County Central School board for 10 years. Charles was dearly loved by his family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy Lasater King; three sons, Randy and his wife Tinna, Terry and his wife Marla and Jason and his wife Kathleen; one brother, Milford Wayne King and his wife Joan; eight grandchildren Aaron and his wife Michelle, Adam, Amber, Chris and his wife Lora, Kendall and his wife Jessica, Brandon, Brooke, and Payton, and five step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
