Gertrude Hampton

Gertrude Hampton 89, of Little Rock, Ark., passed peacefully Oct. 4, 2013. She was born April 6, 1924 in Rayville, Louisiana to the late James and Estella Price. She was a faithful member of Williams Temple C.O.G.I.C. for over 31 years. Preceded in death by daughter, Paula Phaye Finney; and son, Alonzo Hampton. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Shelia Price; siblings, Maxine Price, Laverne Abernathy, Henry Price, Ruby Wiley, Mary Cunningham, Juanita Smith and Wanda Evans; along with her grandchildren; great grandchildren; other family and friends. A celebration of her life will be on Friday, October 11, 2013, 10:00 am, at Williams Temple C.O.G.I.C., 1723 Commerce Street, Little Rock, AR.
