EDNA FRANCES JONES, 88, of Little Rock, Ark., went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013. Edna started to work with Gus Blass on a school work program in Sept. of 1941 and continued her career in accounting with Dillard's until her retirement in May 2006. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Jones, and parents, Edna and Edwin Parker. She is survived by her sister, Billie Bybee of Little Rock; cousin, Ralph Watson of Springfield, Va.; and a family of beloved friends. Edna was an avid Razorback fan and supporter of the Hogs. She enjoyed her volunteer work with the Diocese, Lung Association, election polls and Aldersgate. Edna was a long-time member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, where she loved her church family. Father John Connell, who was so very special to her, will celebrate her Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Memorial Park, with Tommy Williams, Lee Schwarzentraub, Parker Parish, Kevin Pennington, David Robinson and Kyle Robinson serving as pallbearers. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m., Monday, during visitation which will be from 6 until 8 p.m., in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W 12th St., Little Rock, Ark. 72204. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Edna's name to either St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 6221 Baseline Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 or the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72210.
