Charlotte Evans Chadburn

Charlotte Evans Chadburn, 79, of De Queen, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013. She was born in Cushman, Arkansas to the late Henry and Irene Johnson Evans. Charlotte, or "Cha-Cha" to her grandkids, was well-known in De Queen, where she lived for many years and had many friends. She was a shining example of Christian love and compassion to her family, church, and community. Her smile and loving nature will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Chadburn; her parents; four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Coleman (Larry); two grandchildren, Lindsey Vaughan (Clefton) and Jordan Coleman (Katie); and one sister, Christine Buck. A special thanks goes out to the staff at Presbyterian Village in Little Rock and Brookewood Nursing Center in De Queen for the loving care that was provided for her the past few years. Memorials should be sent to De Queen First United Methodist Church, 424 W. Heynecker Avenue, De Queen, Ark. 71832. A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October, 16, 2013 at De Queen First United Methodist Church, 424 West Heynecker Street in De Queen. A Graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville. Arrangements are by Roller-Owens Funeral Home, North Little Rock, (501-791-7400).
