Velma Lee Henderson

Velma Lee Henderson, 70, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away October 3, 2013. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 31, 1943 to the late Mary and Claude McGarr of Lonoke, Arkansas. Velma was an animal lover, a great cook, a wonderful gardener, and a fantastic golfer. Her favorite place to vacation was the beach. She is survived by her brother James (Bud) McGarr of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; daughters, Diana Young of Little Rock, and Sherry Thompson of Cabot; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Velma requested a private burial and funeral. The family wishes to thank all of those that cared for her during her illness.
