Gary William Nowlin

Gary William Nowlin, age 59, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013. Gary was born July 5, 1954 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of the late James William Nowlin and Nell Rose (Mosley) Nowlin. Mr. Nowlin was a plumber by trade. Gary was a Baptist by faith, he loved Nascar, horse racing, and all other sporting activities. Gary loved and had a special bond with his animal kids (his dogs). Gary is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Nowlin of Mabelvale; children, Gary Nowlin II and his wife, Caitlyn of Mabelvale, Shawn Nowlin of Little Rock, Tana Nowlin and her fiancé, Joshua Walker of Little Rock, Tamera Davis and her husband, Rick of East End; step-children, Tiffany Nix, Tabatha Boyd, Brad Inmon and Tonya Butler; brothers, Jimmy Lee Nowlin, James Carl Nowlin, Bruce Edward Nowlin; sister, Mary Looney; six grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. Gary is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and a host of friends that will miss him dearly. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Brother Roger Brown officiating.
