Lillian Roberta Bufford

Lillian Roberta (Brumley) Bufford, 65,died Wednesday, October, 16, 2013. Born October 3, 1948 in Searcy a daughter of Robert Hunter and Lillian Olivia (Gordon) Brumley. Roberta served as Office Manager for the Cooperative Extension Service for 34 years. She was a very active member of the New Bethel General Baptist Church where she served as pianist, organist, church clerk, Sunday school teacher and anything else that needed done. She was an amazing example of a Christian and was always thinking of others. Survivors: Husband, Roger Bufford; her parents, Robert and Olivia Brumley; son, Lynn Bufford and wife Suzanne; daughters, Denise Dunn and husband Ronald Dean, Laura McClellan and husband Bo and Sarah Sanders and husband Heath; brother, Lyndell Brumley and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Megan and Hunter Sanders, Ben Bufford, Ashley and Austin Dunn, Brooke Manley and Nathan McClellan; great-grandchildren, Garrett and Logan Peace as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Usher and Mary Brumley, Boyd Gordon and Cora Lee Terrell. A celebration of Roberta's life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the New Bethel General Baptist Church, north of Bald Knob.
