Richard A Light

Richard Light, 86, of Grove, Okla. passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013. He was born August 4, 1927 to Jesse & Dollie Swartz Light in Ogden, Utah. He joined the Navy in 1945 and then married the mother of his three children, Neuella Thompson. He was a veteran of WWII, Korea Conflict and Vietnam. He retired from the Navy on June 1, 1975. He married Edna Brown in 1977. He is survived by children: Jeannie Duncan, Bentonville, Ark., Kenneth Light, Washburn, Mo.; one sister, Shirley Thompson, Siloam Springs, Ark. and many grandchildren. Visitation from 5-7 p.m. October 22 at Nichols Funeral Service. Services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Nichols Funeral Service, Grove, Okla. Interment at Olympus Cemetery Grove, Okla.
