Rebecca Denise Carter

Rebecca Denise Blount Carter, 50, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Baptist Health-Little Rock. Becky was born November 20, 1962, in Monticello to Sherwood Dean Blount and Joyce Mitchell Blount. She loved all sports – especially softball – and was an avid bowler. She was employed at Hartley Flying Service and was a member of Stuttgart Harvest Church. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by an infant sister. Survivors are her husband, Lance Carter, and their son, Clay Carter; her mother, Joyce Blount of Stuttgart; and two brothers, Michael Dean Blount and wife Angie of Oxford, North Carolina, and Keith Wayne Blount and wife Pam of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Funeral services, officiated by Harley Petty, are 1 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart.
