Betty Darlyne "Dee" Pagan, of Benton, passed away on Aug. 29, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born on Nov. 18, 1933 to the late James and Ena Mae Sikes in Cooke County, Texas. Darlyne loved spending time with her family, working in her flower garden and doing crafts. She was a lifetime member of Salem United Methodist Church. Dee is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Carroll Sikes. She is survived by her children, Janet Pagan Faulkner (Andy Carter) and Glenn Pagan; grandchildren, Mark, Lisa and Mark (Dr. Leah); great grandchildren, Trevor, Kylee, Kinlee, Lucas, Logan and Kinley; sister, Dot Harkleroad; brother, James L. Sikes and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, visitation will be one hour prior. Arrangements provided by Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
