William Alfred "Bill" Dunn, 75, of Royal, passed away at the VA Hospital in Little Rock on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013. Bill was born on Dec. 25, 1937 in Rubicon, Ark. to William Robert and Letha Odell Dunn. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 18 years, Charlotte; his daughter Melissa Inmon and husband Brandon of Bryant; his pride and joy-his grandson, Bryce Inmon and his adopted son, Jon Dunn. He is also survived by his siblings Letha Mae, Sarah, Nancy, Milly, Caroline, Jay, Tom, Ricky and Judy and his mother, Letha Odell Dunn. He leaves behind his fur babies, Thumper, Lady, Ruby Anne and Prince Alfred, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and siblings, Billy Earl and Lucy. Bill was a proud Marine. He was a mechanic by trade. Bill also spent many years as a reserve deputy for Saline County. He helped start the Collegeville Volunteer Fire Department. Bill never met a stranger and was always willing to help someone if he could. He also enjoyed being a Hamm Radio Operator. There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 2 p.m. at Gross Funeral home in Hot Springs. Please come in casual attire as that is what Bill would want. After the memorial service the family will gather at The American Legion at 3237 Albert Pike.
