Jean Lilian Gannaway

Jean Lilian Gannaway, 79, of Jacksonville passed from this life to her eternal home on Friday, August 30, 2013. She was born in London, England on May 22, 1934 to Edward "Ted" and Lilian Hyde. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Charles Gannaway of Warren, Arkansas, daughters, Sharon Howell of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Suzanne Wisdom of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and one brother Wally Hyde of Australia. She is survived by her son Edward Gannaway of Colorado, brothers Don Hyde of England, Ted Hyde of Texas, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Jean was a very active member of her community. She loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking, singing, writing letters and cheering on the Razorbacks. She will be dearly missed.
