Boyd Leon Kelley

Boyd Leon Kelley of Sherwood died September 4, 2013. He was born in Delight, Ark. on August 16, 1935 to Hugh and Thelma Kelley. Boyd served in the Air Force from Jan. 22, 1954 to Dec. 11, 2957. He was a member of the Somers Avenue Church of Christ, serving as an Elder in the church for many years. Boyd married Lahoma Prescott on May 1, 1955 with whom he had two sons, Greg Alan and Paul Michael. Lahoma died on Feb. 9, 2003. Boyd married Phyllis Johnson in July, 2004. Boyd is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Thelma Kelley as well as grandson, Alan Michael Kelley and step-daughter Debra Smith. He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis, sons, Greg Alan Kelley and Paul Michael Kelley, granddaughter, Hannah Marie Kelley, grandson, Caleb Patrick Kelley, step-daughter, Kimberly Riccardini, step-granddaughters, Jennifer Smith and Hillary Kraemers and her husband, Payton. Boyd dearly loved his family, his church and church family. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him. Funeral services will be held at Somers Avenue Church of Christ, 4801 Somers Ave., North Little Rock at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 with visitation at Rest Hills Funeral Home on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6-8 p.m., 7724 Landers Rd., Sherwood, Ark.
