Larry D. Beatty

Larry D. Beatty, 47, of Watson, Ark. passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Ark. Brother Larry pastored several churches throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas. He also did full-time evangelism doing many revivals. Brother Larry was an Assistant Funeral Director with Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service. He enjoyed making people laugh, helping others, fishing and hunting. He was born in Dumas, Ark. on Nov. 1, 1965 to Gwen Roberts Beatty and the late Sterling Lee Beatty who died Sept. 5, 2008. Brother Larry is survived by his mother, Gwen Beatty; two sons, Matthew Beatty and Bradley Beatty; one brother, Jimmy Beatty; adopted sons, Tyler Hewlett and James Pennington; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at Griffin-Culpepper Chapel with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating. Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery in Watson, Ark.
