Mary Nell Thompson

Mary Nell (McKay) Thompson, 83, of Sherwood, Arkansas, died Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Sherwood Nursing Center. She was born March 19, 1930, in Faulkner County, Arkansas a daughter of the late Walter L. and Molly (Russell) McKay. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Thompson, who died August 4, 2010. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Church of Christ in Levy and was a retired secretary in the guidance office of North Little Rock Schools. She is survived by her sons, Greg Thompson of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Doug Thompson of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Conway, burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Conway.
