James Harlin Thomason

James "Jimmy" Harlin Thomason, 72, of Shannon Hills passed away on Monday, September 16th, 2013. He was born on May 3, 1941 to the late Robert "Woody" and Edna (Freeman) Thomason in Paragould, Arkansas. A sales executive for many years, he retired in 2003. James loved the outdoors; camping and especially duck hunting. He loved his family and treasured the time he spent with them. He was a member of Eagle Point Church. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of over 52 years, Margie; his daughter, Tammie R. (Steve) Carpenter of Bryant; his son, Kristopher (Sherrie Bell) Thomason of Shannon Hills; his sister, Jo Ann (David) Singleton of Bloomfield, Missouri; his grandson, Justin Landreth; his granddaughter, Jessica Landreth; his great-granddaughter, Skylar Renee and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 19th, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Riddle officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.on Wednesday, September 18 at the funeral home.
