Coby Shipp

Coby Shipp, age 71, of Morrilton, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2013. He was born April 3, 1942 in Cleveland, Ark., a son of the late Orville Harrison Shipp and the late Alta Goslin Shipp. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Shipp. He was a member of the Downtown Church of Christ, former patrolman for the Arkansas Highway Police, former Conway County Deputy, and a Board Member of Morrilton Sr. Adult's Center. He is survived by two daughters, Missy Shipp of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mandy Shipp of Las Vegas, Nev.; one son, Tobin Shipp of Castroville, Texas; four grandchildren, Tobin II, Daniel, Kaison, and Kameron Shipp; one step-grandchild, Daniella Torres; step-parents, Jeanette and Milford Kirtley of Morrilton; three brothers, Carl, Buddy, and Kenny Shipp all of Morrilton; and one sister, Loretta Sweeden of Morrilton. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at the Downtown Church of Christ with Mr. George Hulett officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Center Ridge by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
