Frances G. Blair

FRANCES G. BLAIR, 87, of Little Rock, died Sept. 13, 2013. Born Dec. 11, 1925 in Little Rock, she was the daughter of Charles Gray and Hazel Holloway Ritter. She retired from Quality Foods after over 25 years of service, and was employed by Chick-fil-A at the time of her death. A member of Henderson United Methodist Church, she enjoyed painting and making cookies for feeding the homeless (under the bridge). Ms. Blair was an inspiration to many. She lived alone, mowed her yard, raked her leaves, kept house and was always helping others who were in need. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William David Blair; a brother, Alfred Ritter; and her cherished dog, Miss B. Survivors are her daughter, Janet Sykes of Quinlan, Texas; a brother, Tom Ritter and his wife, Cleo, of Nevis, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later date. Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth.
