Sue Morris Kretzinger

Sue (Morris) Kretzinger, 89, of Magnolia, Ark. died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at her home in Magnolia. Sue was born Feb. 29, 1924 in Willisville, Ark. to the late Jessie and Mary Allie (Easterling) Morris. She was in the beauty business for over 65 years, she opened her own business, Sues' Beauty Salon, in 1949 and in 1958, she opened Sue's School of Hair Design which was in operation for 16 years. In 2012, Sue received the "Life Time Achievement Award" from the South Arkansas Women's Network. She was an active member and longtime Sunday school teacher of the Bethel Church and she enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, and loved to paint. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Kretzinger; sister, Evelyn Jackson; and nephew, Jim Baker. Sue is survived by her great nephews, Jeff Baker and Terry Baker; and wife, Rhonda both of Tulsa, Okla.; great-great nephews, Christopher Baker of Fayetteville, Ark.; great-great nieces, Jennifer Poplin of Tulsa, Okla. and Melani Crawford of Ohio; and six great-great-great nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 23 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, Ark. with graveside services following at 11 a.m. at the Willisville Cemetery with Bro. Barry Nall officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Lester Jetton, Greg Pinner, Trevor Allen, Rick Hutchison, Chuck Creed, Ricky Wilson, and Mark Avery.
